Katie-Macbook

My favorite piece of technology is by far my macbook. Not only does it link me and my family to my stateside family while I am overseas it is also my work space, my play space, and my entertainment space. I use my computer for school, both as a teacher and as a student. As a teacher I am able to make lessons come alive and differentiate lessons using tech tools such as a smartboard and powerpoint. I use my computer to keep my organized with planbook.com and ical and to help me create lessons that use incorporate the internet  such as using youtube and brainpop. There are too many ways to list how my macbook enhances my teaching experience. At home I use my computer for communication via skype, facebook, email, blogs, and more. I also use my computer for creating such as with iphoto, my wacom board, Microsoft Word and many more programs. Since we live overseas we also use our computer for entertainment through slingbox. I connect my computer to our TV and then watch movies and tv through slingbox. I also use itunes for both myself and my toddler.
I cannot forget that I use my computer for shopping as well! There are not many options for shopping where I live so I buy many things online.
One of the best features of using my macbook is watching my daughter talk to our family in the usa. My macbook is hands down my favorite piece of technology.
